Guided tour of the wine cellar + live paella and sparkling wine tasting + meal in the gardens
Come and visit Cavas Montesquius, a winery with 100 years of history, and find out about the process of making sparkling wine using the traditional method handed down by our ancestors.
During the visit, a guide will show you the oldest parts of the winery, tunnels dug out by hand over a century ago. You will discover all of the particularities of sparkling wine, from the grapes to ageing and labelling. Making cava is a long process that ends when the sparkling wine is ready to be enjoyed.
After the visit, we’ll have a very special tasting of our best wines, with a Mediterranean appetizer, while we watch a paella1 being made by our chef just for us. While the chef is cooking, you can participate, observe, watch, and ask the cook whatever you like.
All of this in privileged location, our gardens2, a place specially created to allow you to enjoy fine cuisine and cava, while you relax and connect with nature.
We will end up eating all together, combining the dish with Montesquius sparkling wine.
Come get to know our winery, which is unique, thanks to its history and long tradition, and have an unforgettable day watching and learning how to make this dish, a well-known part of traditional Spanish cuisine.
